Obituary of Brenda Lee Conway (née Kemp)

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the age of 60, Brenda Lee Conway (née Kemp) passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home surrounded by the love of her family. She has been reunited with her mother Marie Kemp (née Larouch), her brothers Gary and Danny and her mother-in-law Eileen Conway (née MacTavish). Left behind to carry on her memory is her devoted husband of 28 years James Conway, her loving sons Chad Conway (Kris Collin) and Devin Conway (Kayla Regan), her cherished grandchildren Brylynn Jennings-Conway and Rowan Conway who affectionately called her Nana, her dear siblings Bill, Mike, Mark, Randy, Sue and Linda, sister-in-law Caroline Tchang (Steve) and father-in-law Gary Conway. Brenda will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends Dyan, Rose and Florence who always stood by her side.

Brenda was known for her wicked sense of humor, outgoing personality and deep love for her family.

A devoted stay-at-home mom, she dedicated her life to raising her boys, creating a warm and loving home. She found joy in the little things—baking cinnamon cookies and lemon tarts, crafting homemade mac and cheese and stuffed chicken and spending time with those she loved. She was also an expert shopper, always on the lookout for a good deal and enjoyed getting manicures with Kris.

Brenda had a deep affection for all things pink and black and her love of the Bee Gees' timeless music filled her home with joy. She cherished Christmas more than any other time of year, pouring her heart into decorating and being with family, making the holidays a special and unforgettable occasion.

Near the end of her life she developed a meaningful connection with butterflies, symbolizing her spirit of transformation and resilience. Her loved ones will forever remember her laughter, her kindness, her remarkable strength and willingness to help anyone who needed it.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Niagara Falls. A celebration of Brenda's life will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at St. Antoine's Hall 4570 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, ON from 2:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m. If desired, donations in Brenda's memory may be made to The Walker Family Cancer Centre.

So very sorry to hear of Brenda’s passing. I lived on Patten Crescent near Brenda and her family for many years. So kind to all of the children on the crescent. Always a big smile and a wonderful sense of humor. After I moved, I recall dropping her off flowers when she was not well, at the time. She was so kind and so appreciative. She will be so very missed. My deepest condolences to James and their family. May her beautiful soul RIP. ????❤️

Rest in Peace, beautiful angel. Although we didn’t have the chance to spend time together in our later years, I always wished we had made the time. Every time we’d bump into each other out somewhere , you always had that big beautiful smile and a hug. I’ll miss you my old friend !!
