Obituary of Blanche Macfarlane VitaleVitale, Blanche (nee Stevenson)
It is with sincere sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother on October 15, 2019 at the age of 75 after a valiant battle with cancer. Our mother was fiercely independent and strong. She loved her family and loved to spend time with them. Loving mother to Margaret (Dave) Beaupre, Peter Vitale and Marty (Erin) Vitale. Cherished grandmother to Alicia Vitale, Catharine (Dan) Worth, Alyssa, Lauren, Andrew and Jessica Beaupre. Great Grandmother to Lily Barton. Blanche is predeceased by her parents Martin and Annie Stevenson and her brother Martin Stevenson.
The family would like to thank the Walker Family Cancer Centre, Dr. Tharmabala and the Chemotherapy Clinic for their compassion and care during Blanche’s time there. In honouring Blanche's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre. In the early 90’s, Blanche was the familiar face at Town & Country Donuts, whom I’d had the pleasure of seeing every day while I ordered a hot bevy. Blanche had a talent for squeezing every last drop of flavour and water from a tea bag by wrapping the string around the bag nestled in the spoon. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to copy Blanche over the years, she made it look easy! Blanche was a tough cookie, hard worker, and still missed after all these years from the plaza. Sincere sympathies to you, may you find peace knowing Blanche will be fondly remembered.
My deepest sympathies to the family. Blanche was a special lady i admired her strenghth and determination to live each day with hope and a smile . May she rest in peace.
Alicia and Family. So sorry for your loss. May you find God’s peace during this time. She is in His arms now.
I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you all. Denise, Mike, Andie, Taylor and Tia ♥️

Please accept my deepest condolences during this very sad time.
Your Mom was a strong vibrant lady who I had the great pleasure of knowing since my childhood, not often crossing paths, but many times thinking of her with a smile.
May you always find Peace & Comfort knowing she is “not gone, just away”
It was my pleasure to be one of Blanche’s nurses. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. Her beautiful smile and ever twinkling eyes will be truly missed. I enjoyed seeing her every time she came to the chemo room. My condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear of this loss for you family. I will always remember the many conversations we had when I would hang out at the coffee shop where she worked. I spent many an afternoon in her company chatting about nothing while I drank a million coffees and played cards or read books. She was loved by many. Hugs for you all.
