In Loving Memory of
Bertrum James Watson

Obituary of Bertrum James Watson
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bert Watson on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the age of 75. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Bert was known for his kindness, honesty, and unwavering loyalty. He devoted his whole life to Double-Deck Tours in Niagara Falls before retiring in 2018. His quiet strength, thoughtful nature, and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Outside of work, Bert enjoyed a quiet life of relaxation, often on the golf course or a pool table, where his sense of humor and easygoing manner were evident to all who shared a game with him. He was one in a million and although our memories will bring us comfort, there will always be an emptiness that could never be filled.
Bert leaves behind his beloved wife, Susan, and his children: Tawny Watson and Dustin Watson (Mandy Anderson).
In keeping with Bert's wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Niagara Falls.

I was a friend of Bert’s for many years, and always found him very helpful with our Bus business for information on RM’s and he would often put work to us, out of his area.
He really enjoyed his retirement, which was well deserved.
We will miss Bert.
We send condolences to his Family with love.
Bert was a great neighbour. How well we remember him saving the day when he arrived with his front end loader to clear our driveway during the blizzard of 77!! Just an example of his thoughtfulness. Sending caring thoughts to you Sue and of course to Tawny and Dustin too.
A genuinely nice guy. Always fun to be around in the limited time I knew Bert.

Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. We are very sorry for your loss
A great guy will be sadly missed. One of the best if not the ‘best’. It’s going too be strange without having Bert around. Rest in peace Bert.
How sad am I to know that we have lost Bert. His longtime close friendship with my brother made him a part of my family. In his last days we talked fondly of Bobby and my parents. I hope now they are together, shooting a game of pool and laughing.
