Obituary of Barbara "Barb" Diane Noonan
Mom, Nana, Great Nana, left us peacefully as her eyes opened wide, her face lit up and she smiled from ear to ear as the love of her life took her hand to take her home. Mom and Dad are together again and is finally pain-free from all her suffering over the years. She is now at peace.
Her husband, Paul Noonan, left us just over 8 months ago. Barb’s heart broke into pieces that day. They were happily married for 63 years. The greatest Mom to Greg (Sheila), Debbie (Brian) Van Gelder, Paula (Rob) Karas. Her Grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart, Robyne (Nathan), Brenda (Elias), Aaron (Courtney), Cole (Brittney) and Drew have many cherished memories of their kind, loving Nana they will carry with them in their hearts forever. Great Nana sure loved her Great Grand Boys Leo, Bentley and Kios who she would never stop talking about. They always put a huge smile on her face. She will also be reunited with her parents, Harry and Natalie Halliday. Missed by brothers Harry (Gale), Doug and predeceased by brothers Ralph, Robert and Donald all with whom she had a very special relationship with.Auntie Bobo will be remembered by many nieces and nephews whom she was so proud of.
Mom raised us while working throughout her life at Ferranti Packard, Beaver Lumber and H&R Block. She made everything look so easy. We always came first and there wasn't anything she wouldn’t do for us or for anyone. She was very kind and generous. After retirement Mom and Dad lived an amazing life. They spent 18 years enjoying the Florida sun every winter. In accordance with her wishes Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Arthritis Society of Canada or SickKids in Mom's name would be much appreciated.
We miss you so much already and every time we see a Ladybug we will know your with us.
