Obituary of Attila Balogh

Attila Balogh passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Juravinski Cancer Centre. Attila and family moved from Hungary to Canada, where he worked tirelessly to provide a better life for his family. He was an avid gardener who loved to read but would always make time to watch the Toronto Maple Leafs or practically any soccer game. He will be remembered fondly for his charm and sense of humour. Attila is survived by his wife, Susan and his sons Adrian and Adam. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 starting at 13:00, with words of remembrance shared at 14:00, at the Hilton Garden Inn, 500 York Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake. Honoring Attila's request, in lieu of flowers, donation made to the Cancer Assistance Program and / or Wellspring Niagara maybe made here on Attila’s tribute page or in person at Attila’s memorial on Sunday.

I am saddened to learn of Attila’s departure. We worked together many years ago at Galileo and I have many fond memories of his humour and dedication to fitness. I will always recall much laughter and music with great appreciation. My deepest sympathies to his loved ones.
