Obituary of Armando Vanditelli

It is with very saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Armando Vanditelli. Armando will be missed by his daughters Cheryl (Robert Harris) and Christine (Iowa Chapman). He will be cherished by his grandchildren Felicia, Alyssa and Jordan. Armando will be remembered by his brother in law, sister, nieces, nephews, goddaughters and godsons. He will be fondly thought of by his extended family and friends. Armando was predeceased by his wife Margaret and his parents Harry and Ann. Dad to Cheryl and Christine, Pappa to those whom he adored the most in life, Arm to his sister and brother in law, Uncle Arm to countless nieces, nephews, goddaughters and godsons, Army to his family and friends. To know him was to love him. You couldn’t help but love him. He always had a smile for you and it was always genuine. He was an advisor and a friend to many.

As peaceful as he was in life, he is now passed on to the next world or whatever awaits him. Armando had an absolutely wonderful life and he wanted everyone to know that. He loved his family very much. He faced everyday life with optimism and positivity and we believe that’s what got him so far. He inspired many people with his positive attitude and encouraged others to live their lives to the fullest. He was tough but gentle and in true Army fashion he was making jokes until the very end. His sense of humor will be missed, but lives on in so many of us. Armando’s last wish was for all of you to always hold your heads high, live your lives for you and don’t let anyone steal your joy away. The impact that he had on us still lingers in our hearts and his positive legacy lives on.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). As per Armando’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers the family wishes for people to sign their donor cards or to donate to the Kidney Foundation. Due to Armando receiving a kidney transplant, he was given 8 more years to be loved, create memories and to spend precious time with his family. There is no greater gift than giving a family more time together. The inurnment will take place on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 1:00pm in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Woodbridge, Ontario. A celebration of life will take place at the Queen Bean Café 4388 Queen Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Everyone is welcome. If you would like to attend please RSVP to Cheryl Vanditelli via text (905-481-1285) or email ([email protected]). The family would like to say a special thank you for all of the condolences, memories and love everyone has and will continue to give. He will be missed but one day the tears of sorrow will turn to tears of laughter as we move along our grief journey and reminisce about all the fun and silly things. We have such fond memories. Online condolences may be shared on Armando’s tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com.

A message from Armando

“I’m not afraid to go, I have no fear, when I die I don’t want people crying for me. That’s just stupid. I want people to celebrate my life, and I want people to celebrate that”.

Oh, papa. You were the greatest man. You treated me like a princess until the day you died. I am going to miss you so much. There will always be a hole in my heart where your jokes used to be. I’m so fortunate to have been loved by you.

Dad, you were the first man to hold me, to love me and protect me. You were the first man I loved and trusted. You were the first man I danced with and you were the man who taught me how to love, be kind, hold my head high and never compromise my morals and values. I am so sad but so blessed to have so many wonderful memories of you. I love you more than sliced bread and I always will. You are forever in my heart ❤️

My sweetest papa, best friend, confidant and advisor. There is and will never be anyone on this earth that I will ever love more than I love you. Thank you for all you’ve done for me. You’ve helped me in ways I could never truly express. Right now the grief is strong. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to live without you. I’ll try each and every day to carry on your legacy of kindness, compassion and optimism. Until we meet again. I love you endlessly – always and forever. Forever in my heart.
