Obituary of Anne Willis

Peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Pleasant Manor, in Virgil, Ontario in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Goldwyn (2008). Beloved mother of Warren (Audrey) and Gail (Pat). Grammy of Ryan, Shawn, Sarah, Rob, Tom, and extended family, Jenn, David and Grant. She was a cherished great-grandmother and will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Irene, Alice, Olga, Joyce, Ron, George and all of their families. She was predeceased by her sister Jean. Anne enjoyed country life in West Guilford and spending time with her best friend, Viola. She will also be missed by her loving border collie, Sonny. Our family would like to acknowledge the staff at Pleasant Manor, for their excellent care and communication. Mom was always secure and happy. Arrangements have been entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be celebrated at a later date. Warren, Gail and family I am so sorry to here of Auntie Anne’s passing. Both your Dad and Mom have always been good to me. I have so many great memories from my child hood with them. Sending you all our Love. Please reach out if you need anything. Again I’m so sorry. Love Kim and Cole Kubas

Sorry to hear about the passing of Anne. Her and Viola always sat at the table beside us at Kinmount Bingo on Friday nights. Valerie Greer, Carol Chynoweth, Wendy Maycock and I will miss her. She was quite the character. So sad.

A beautiful lady with a huge heart – thank you for welcoming me in your home so many times, Anne. I’ll miss our breakfast debates about sports, politics and whatever else came to mind. Thank you for being so sweet to my kids. You and Goldie did a great job, you should be very proud.
