Obituary of Ann Upper-Cosford
Passed away peacefully on November 28, 2022 at Eventide Nursing Home in Niagara Falls at the age of 83. Ann was the loving mother to LeeAnn (Michael). Beloved Nana to Jordan. Proud GG to Madyson. Ann will also be fondly remembered and missed by her dear longtime friends Joy (Jeremy), Brenda & Angela. Predeceased by her beloved parents Andrew & Edith Ballentyne and her brother Don Ballentyne. She will now be in spirits, walking the beaches in St. Maarten.The family wishes to express their gratitude to the 2nd floor staff at Eventide Nursing Home for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Ann's wishes, cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at Essentials Cremation and Burial Services, 102A-4300 Drummond Rd, Niagara Falls on Saturday, December 3 from 2-4 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Ontario SPCA in memory of Ann. For those wishing to send flowers, please feel free to send them to the funeral home for the visitation.

I am so sorry for your loss LeeAnn. Your mother was such a good hearted, generous person. I have so many fond memories – curling, cooking classes, fishing, Mulmur. She brought a lot of joy to my life, I will truly miss her.
I’m so sorry for your loss LeeAnn. You took the best care of your mother and she knew that and loved you for it. There will be a big hole in your heart and as time goes on you will remember the good times you two shared.

LeeAnne, you know how sorry we are for you and your son & Granddaughter’s loss.
Your Mom and I had been friends since 1976 from living in Thornhill & being members of Thornhill GC.. It doesn’t seem all that long ago you lived with us when your Mom went to Europe. Our thoughts & prayers go out to you all. hugs & love from Ainslie & Bill Fry
