In Loving Memory of

Ann Marie Leger

1947-2021

Obituary of Ann Marie Leger

Passed peacefully in her sleep at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at the age of 74. Beloved wife for 56 years to Wayne and  loving and devoted mother to Holly Mundula (Brandon Houtby). Proud Nana of Crocifisso "Cross" and Gabriel. Dear sister of William (Debbie) Ross, sister-in-law to Betty and Alana (Gordon) Summers, and special Aunt Ann to Todd and Shahna. She will be remembered by her son-in-law Anthony and friend Laura. Ann was predeceased by her brother James Ross, nephew Trevor Ross, and best friend Blake.

As a loving and nurturing lady, Ann always felt her responsibility was to care for everyone. She had a big heart and selflessly devoted her life to her family. Ann had a great sense of humour and once in a while, was known to be a little feisty. Her favourite pastimes involved watching old classic movies and listening to her favourite musician, Neil Diamond. A special thank you to Remo, Michelle and Catharine (Ann's nurses) on the 5th Floor at the St. Catharines Hospital for their exceptional care and support. In accordance with Ann's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will not be a visitation or service, however, Ann wanted her family and friends to think of her and raise a glass of Irish Cream. Bottom's up!  Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. Aligning with Ann's passion for caring about people, she would have wanted memorial donations given to Community Care of St Catharines and Thorold, this would be greatly appreciated by her family. Online condolences may be shared on Ann's tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com.
