Obituary of Andrew Mark Kovacich Sr.

In the early morning of Monday August 14, 2023, Andrew Mark Kovacich Sr was called to be reunited with his parents Peter (2001) and Mary (2001), his daughter Alyssa (2020) and his partner Emelia (2021). He leaves his three boys; Andrew Jr. (Crystal), Peter and Frank, to carry on his legacy so that his cherished grandchildren; Alexis, Abby, Jaxon, Kyle and Zach can share stories with their children about what an amazing man he was. His brothers and sister; Terry (Jeanette), Evelyn (Ralph), Mike (Susan), Jim (Sherri) and John (Tracey) , will always remember the childhood memories growing up in ‘Port'.

Andrew was a life-long resident of Welland but born in Port Colborne. He worked at John Deere for over 30 years until he retired. He was a passionate (self-taught) guitar player and loved some of the legendary sounds of The Eagles and Tom Petty. He also enjoyed playing poker from time to time. He was a very well-known gentleman who will be missed terribly by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. If desired, donations may be made to The Walker Family Cancer Centre in Andrew's memory.
