Obituary of Alexander Mills
After a courageous battle, Alexander passed peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the age of 72. Loving father to Alex Jr. (Colleen) and Chris, and cherished grandfather to Noah and Cole. Alexander was the beloved soulmate of Kathleen for 25 years. He was like a father to her children Don Miller, Debbie (Larry) Hampson and Eleanor (Warren) Atkins. Alexander was the much loved grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will also be lovingly missed by his furry companion, Trizkit. Predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Anna Mae, and his siblings Emily and Bubs.Alexander was born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia. He left at a young age to begin working as a deckhand on the Upper Lakes ships, and would later work as a tunnelman. He will be remembered for his love of jig fishing, Bingo, Kathleen's cooking, country music, going to the casino, and watching horse races at the Off Track Betting on Kalar Road. Alexander was a very considerate and friendly man. He was also funny, and loved to joke and laugh with those closest to him. He will be forever missed.
In keeping with Alexander's wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133).

alex and cathy have been good friends to me in the many years thats i had the pleasure to aquaintenence them..i will miss sitting on thier front porch enjoying a cocktail or coffee with them..he is already greatly missed..cathy took great care of him in the latest years..i know she is hurt deeply hurt by his passing..luv ya pal..may u rest in peace..gone to soon.
