Obituary of Albert Edward Gough

GOUGH – Albert Edward 1936-2021

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Albert on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Upper Canada Lodge in NOTL. Beloved husband of Garnet Bromley Gough for 55 years. Survived by his sister Sadie McNab. Fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Harry, Howard, Harvey and Raymond Gough and his sisters Louise Durante and Pearl Morden.
Albert and Garnet were founders of High Hope Farm in Allanburg. They both shared a passion in raising and showing their purebred Arabian Horses. Albert spent much of his spare time golfing at Sawmill Golf course. He progressed in his working career from electrician to millwright and finally retired as supervisor.
In keeping with Albert’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held later. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Essentials Cremation & Burial Services Inc., 102A-4300 Drummond Road, Niagara Falls were entrusted with Albert’s arrangements.
